Forged for Agri!
In 1978, a small seed was planted in the city of Independência, in the northwest of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, by Mr. Romar Felipe Mann and his wife Mrs. Neli Klein Mann.
With determination and extensive experience, Mr. Romar Felipe Mann, a former mechanic at SLC, began manufacturing replacement parts for harvesters of this brand, becoming a pioneer in the country.
On February 4, 1985, the company became Romar F. Mann & Cia Ltda, and since then, it has had four partners: Romar Felipe Mann, Ricardo Klein Mann, Cláudio Baiotto (in memoriam), and Eron Teixeira.
Our History
Always focused on the quality of its products and services, Romar F. Mann & Cia Ltda has built, over the years, a modern facility equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and a team of skilled professionals, aiming to ensure the satisfaction of its customers and business partners.
However, the main concern for Romar F. Mann & Cia Ltda has always been directed towards those responsible for the food on our tables and the sustenance of the country: the farmer. It was with this purpose, to ease the work of rural labor, that the small seed was nurtured and carefully watered. In the same land where food is planted, hope was also sown. The hope for better days.
This is how one person’s dream became the goal of many. Years later, the company founded through the pioneering efforts of Mr. Romar Felipe Mann, who started with 5 employees, 50 customers, and a production of 35 replacement parts for SLC harvesters, now employs over 200 people and has a customer base of more than 1,500 active clients. It sells parts to legal entities across all agricultural sectors in Brazil and exports to Bolivia, Paraguay, Ecuador, Peru, Costa Rica, Argentina, Uruguay, the United States, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, South Africa, and Australia.
The most important part that MANN has produced over these years is the trust of its customers. A part shaped by hard work and determination, always emphasizing quality while providing an economical alternative for farmers. That’s why MANN is a name recognized everywhere where agricultural production is valued.
Timeline
2008
Partner Claudio Baiotto suffered a severe and fatal traffic accident. After this tragic event, his wife, Marta Mann Baiotto, became part of the company’s partnership.
2013
In October 2013, partner Ricardo suffered a severe accident, which left him unable to perform his role as Commercial Manager, a position he had held since the company's inception. At that time, partner Marta Mann Baiotto joined the company to take on the role of Commercial Manager.
2014
Until 2014, MANN was involved in the production of parts for John Deere, Semeato, Stara-Sfil, and Tatu planters, and also sold outsourced parts to better serve its customers. However, the need to increase the production of new harvester parts led the company’s management to discontinue these lines, focusing its efforts on improving inventory for even more efficient service to ensure customer satisfaction.
2015
Partner Eron Teixeira began serving as managing partner.
2018
Following the passing of founding partner Mr. Romar Felipe Mann, partner Marta Mann Baiotto assumed the role of Administrator of the company.
